Chili, Scottsville, Henrietta EMS Merger Update

Chili Volunteer Ambulance Service, Scottsville Rescue Squad and Henrietta Ambulance have been responding as a combined agency since early January. NYS DOH approved the merger of the operating authority allowing the 3 agencies to operate as a combined agency. The members of all 3 agencies are working together as one team of caregivers. The process to finalize the merger of the corporations is in its final phase. The corporations will be officially merged as CHS Mobile Integrated Health Care. The ambulance stations in Chili, Henrietta, and Scottsville will continue to serve the local community. In January, our combined agencies we’re called on 791 times to render care. The local resources covered 773 of the calls. The other 18 were covered by our mutual aid partners.
