We provide contract EMS standby services to businesses & organizations in Henrietta.
The New York State Department of Health requires EMS to be on-site for any event with an anticipated attendance of 5,000 or more people. For complete details, see Part 18 – NYS Sanitary Code. Although this is mandatory, an organization may choose electively to have EMS standby for any event.
Henrietta Ambulance requires as much notice as possible (at least 30 days) when contracting for EMS standby services. This is necessary in order to allow us to secure the proper staffing to support your needs. However, in some cases, we may be able to staff your event on shorter notice. Requests for standby services made after the 10th of the month prior will be charged at a higher hourly rate.
